Category ‘B’ (Below 1900) (ELO 1899 & below)
ELIGIBILITY: Players having the FIDE rating 1899 & below for the last three years are only allowed to participate in this event. Unrated players are also Indian players. However, any player who finished 1st or 2nd in the rating restricted FIDE rated event for the last year (14-12-2023 to 14-12-2024) is not eligible to participate. AICF registration for the financial year (from 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025) is mandatory while for the foreign players a valid FIDE ID is required.

ELIGIBILITY: Players having the FIDE rating 1599 & below for the last three years are only allowed to participate in this event. Unrated players are also Indian players. However, any player who finished 1st or 2nd in the rating restricted FIDE rated event for the last year (18-12-2023 to 18-12-2024) is not eligible to participate. AICF registration for the financial year (from 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025) is mandatory while for the foreign players a valid FIDE ID is required.
